Dr. Allama Zameer Akhter Naqvi received memento from dean of Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education at Yaum-e-Hussain AS

Youm-e- Hussain was organized by Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education on Saturday, February 07, 2009 (11th Safar) at the Business School Auditorium.

The speakers spoke about the Philosopy of Martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) and implications for the humanity”. They highlighted the contribution of Imam Hussain and his companions to save the religion and the humanity. Maulana Akber Dars quoted from the Holy Quran the importance and necessity of being affiliated with the Holy Prophet and his off springs. According to him this was the only way to survive in the current turbulent time.

Maulana Zameer Naqvi spoke about the need of the incident of Karbala. He said as the purpose of the Imam was to save humanity, it now becomes our responsibility to promote the cause of the Imam in the present time. He emphasized on the efforts to unite people and work for the upliftment of the humanity.

In his vote of thanks the Dean of the faculty of Business thanked the speakers and presented them the mementos of the institute.

An impressive number of teachers and students attended the event.

The programme lasted for two hours. At the end of the programme high tea was served.
